It was originally manufacture by the Rover-Triumph Division of the British Leyland Motor corporatioen (BLMC) until May 1975m and thereafter by the Specialis Division (latterly the <em>Jaguar-Rover-Triumph<\/em> division) of British Leyland. It was initially produced at the Speke, Liverpool, factory, <sup id=\"cite_ref-marren2009_2-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>moving to Canley, Coventry, in 1978 and then finally to the Rover Solihull plant in 1980. This Triumph TR7 Coupe was built in mid-1979 in Canleyand delivered to the Buchmoos garage in Br\u00fctten, ZH. The first registration was on November, 1st 1980 in Winterthur, ZH. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The car, characterised by its \"wedge\" shape and by a swage line sweeping down from the rear wing to just behind the front wheel, was commonly advertised as \"the shape of things to come\". The design was penned by Harris Mann who also designed the wedge-shaped Princess. The car has an overall length of 406 cm), width of 168 cm, wheelbase of 216 cm) and height of 126 cm. It is completely rust free. To keep it that way for a long time we have completely treated it with \"Mike Sanders\" anti-corrosion grease<\/span> .<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Due to the long standing time, we have completely <\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">mechanically <\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">overhauled the car using original English spare parts. Not only all fluids have been changed, but also all wear parts such as brake pads, breakers, sparks,filters, battery, etc. have been replaced. Also the engine was also opened and checked and checked for wear. It it in very good condition. Compression is within the specs and homgogenous between all cylinders. We completley overhauled the cylinder head an refitted it with new gaskets. To ensure smooth travel we changed all front and rear shock absorbers including the springs. The interior was completely cleaned and new, original carpets were fittet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The vehicle is in complete original condition, including a working \"Pioneer\" cassette\/radio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">For today's safety we have installed new reflectors with halogen bulbs in the retractable headlights.
